Background to Diversiton

 - Diversiton is a non-profit making body, dedicated to promoting diversity and equality in the workplace.  We work in partnership with a wide range of Public and Private sector organisations on an ongoing basis and are probably best known for the Diversity Calendar which we produce each year.  This is now established as the leading annual diversity publication in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Hundreds of organisations support our work every year and host their personalised Diversity online calendar on their website.

 - Diversiton grew out of the equality legislation in Northern Ireland in 1998 following the peace process. Our award winning training in Religion & Belief half day seminar has been delivered to over 800 Public and Private Sector bodies and is still our most popular programmes.

 - We then expanded to England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland through a network of local partners and continue to provide a growing range of resources and training for Human Resource professionals and Senior Managers. Our popular programmes include New Neighbours (anti racism), Jigsawise (tackling unemployment), Visiting the homes of those from other cultures (cultural awareness), Setting up a quiet room (religious diversity in practice), Happy Birthday? (age diversity), Check-Up! (spiritual healthcare needs for ethnic minority communities), and numerous others.

 - We are also building a wide range of digitial products including ebooks, training packages and personal development resources.

 - Our next stage of development is to expand beyond Ireland and the UK in line with the user profile on our website.

Cost / Investment for Partners

Our priority is to find the right Partners who share our values and ambition. The business will follow on from us esablishing a successful working relationship. Typically, each Country Partner makes a contribution to our central development and support costs of around 10% of income received / expected. This is a significant business opportunity but as we say, our aim first and foremost is to find the right Partners.
