Age Diversity – let’s get ready!

Employers are gearing up for the new Age discrimination legislation due to become effective in October 2006.

Diversiton new Age Diversity course will be launched in July with in-house and general courses available from September 2006.  Next months newsletter will have full details including an opportunity to enter our draw for 100 free places!

Ageism – Myth 36

'Older adults find it harder to learn new information and skills.'

The capacity for older adults to learn new information is no different to that of their younger colleagues.  The majority of individuals over 65 show no signs of cognitive impairment.

Older adults will, however, like all workers benefit from training tailored to their individual needs.

Summer sessions in Religion and Belief

Diversiton has now trained over 5,000 delegates on its Award winning programme ‘Religion and Belief in the Workplace’.  Why not take the opportunity to book one of our half day Summer sessions in Religion and Belief?  Forthcoming dates….

Given that UK employers are now spending £210m a year on employment tribunals (and this is expected to rise by 70% to £360m in 2007), it seems that many organisations view the Diversiton £79 course as a good insurance policy!
