Equality 2007 project - supporting The Corporate Goat? The Corporate Goat is encouraging corporate funding for projects to assist the poor and vulnerable in our world, over and above that which is currently given. It does so by employing strategies that build confidence that money is well spent and achieving, in human terms, a return on investment that an organisation may rightly be proud of. The Corporate Goat assists organisations to find suitable projects to sponsor. There is no cost for this service and all payments are made directly from the Sponsor to the recipient charity. If you would like to learn more about this work and approach then see http://www.thecorporategoat.com Opportunities for organisations
Although The Corporate Goat has only been in operation for a few months projects have been identified through field visits to Ghana and Madagascar. The first 6 projects have all been funded by organisations keen to adopt their own project and make a difference to children’s lives. The second wave of projects will become available in July 2007 and if you would like details of these please email info@thecorporategoat.com for details.
Diversiton is sponsoring a project in Ghana Mama Laadi is looking to the long term independent sustainability of her Foster Home and this challenge of sustainability is twofold: firstly Mama Laadi wants to raise money towards the running costs of her home and, perhaps more fundamentally, she wants to ensure that her children are able to build self sufficient futures for themselves. Start up costs for Mama Laadi's Foster home ‘Library and Provisions Store (Bolgatanga) are £1,500. http://www.thecorporategoat.com/16.html
